Until the Race is Won!
Trusting God ~ 101 or Father Knows Best
Could ya imagine the Miracle that would take place performed by God Himself, if I kept my fingers OFF after I prayed? I have not learned yet to let it in His hands. I fail so miserably at this test over and over again. I wish He'd just let me take "summer school" on "Trusting God 101" and let me slide on by !!! I am more like the little child that takes the busted toy to Daddy. And I give it to him and I go away to play...but then I come back---again---and again---checking up on him, getting in the way, asking dumb questions, suggesting things that won't work ---while he tries to fix it for me---patiently and lovingly...(talk about "bear breath" down your neck !!!---WHY does He put up with me ??) and finally I have had it---He is not working fast enough to suit me; He isn't "worried" enough about it !!! so I grab it and back off on my own I go !!! And we all KNOW what happens when we "go off on our own". I, personally could write a book on my worldly "escapades" as I "went off on my own" mad at God, blaming Him. Funny thing is, He was right there waiting for me all along....it's sad really --- the time we waste being mad at the wrong one !!! God created me. He knows best End of subject!!! Or so it should be !!! What was that old show on tv years back before they were swearing or nude??? "FATHER KNOWS BEST" Even when I hurt and am angry I wish to Him ---that He would remind me of those 3 words !!! In the creation of what I need --- be it money, healing, patience ( hhhmmmpppphhh !!!!!!! HURRY UP WITH THIS ONE LORD !!! PLEASE !!!) all is not going to look good....ever see the underside of a needle point??? Well, one of MINE, any ways !!! grin !!! My niece can make the underside as neat as the top side....but few of us can do that !!! And when it does NOT "LOOK" like anything is taking place....we are to "rest" in Him.....If I keep my fingers OUT...He is at work... food for thought huh??? God is my parent. He knows best. He has the Answer. Trust Him (and pray for me that I'll learn to do this too :o) A good verse for us today is Hab.3:17-19--- "ALTHOUGH THE FIG TREE SHALL NOT BLOSSOM, NEITHER SHALL FRUIT BE IN THE VINES; THE LABOUR OF THE OLIVE SHALL FAIL, AND THE FIELDS SHALL YIELD NO MEAT; THE FLOCK SHALL BE CUT OFF FROM THE FOLD, AND THERE SHALL BE NO HERD IN THE STALLS: YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD, I WILL JOY IN THE GOD OF MY SALVATION. THE LORD GOD IS MY STRENGTH, AND HE WILL MAKE MY FEET LIKE HINDS FEET, AND HE WILL MAKE ME TO WALK UPON MINE HIGH PLACES !!!" THANK YOU JESUS. AMEN !!!
